HephiosLab started with a simple observation: most fidget toys are cheap, flimsy, and designed to break. We wanted something different — a tool that feels as intentional as the engineering behind it.
Named after Hephaestus, the Greek god of craft and forge, our workshop applies the same principles: precision, durability, and purpose. Every slider is a small piece of functional engineering — designed in CAD, refined through iteration, and printed with parameters tuned over hundreds of hours.
We do not mass-produce. Every piece is printed to order, which means zero waste and maximum quality control. When you hold a HephiosLab slider, you are holding something that was made specifically for you.
Every slider begins as a parametric CAD model, engineered for optimal magnet placement, rail geometry, and ergonomic grip.
Multiple iterations are printed and tested. We refine tolerances, magnet positioning, and sliding resistance until it feels right.
0.2mm layer height, 210°C nozzle temp, 60mm/s speed. Rails at 100% infill. Each piece takes hours, not minutes.
N52 neodymium magnets are pressed into precision cavities. Polarity is verified. Rails are seated and tested for smooth travel.
Every unit is inspected for layer adhesion, magnet alignment, sliding smoothness, and dimensional accuracy. Rejects are recycled.
